The Dalmore 12 Years Old Sherry Cask Select is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in American white oak and then finished in Oloroso sherry casks.
The nose is led by caramelised orange and honey, with the sweetness of raisined sherry and dark dried fruit such as plums and dates. The palate is silky, with dark chocolate and crushed almonds, candied orange peel, a few walnuts and a smooth, creamy oak spice. The finish is long and creamy, with a panna cotta note and a rich cocoa and sticky sponge character.
