This is The Dalmore 18 Year Old in its Lunar New Year 2026 edition, a limited release for the Year of the Horse. It is a Highland single malt in a 70cl bottle at 43%, presented in a festive box.
The whisky was matured in American white oak ex-Bourbon casks and in 30 year old Matusalem Oloroso sherry casks.
The aroma brings vanilla, dark chocolate, English marmalade and sweet liquorice. On the palate there are chocolate raisins, citrus fruits, rich coffee, nutmeg and spice, and the finish carries stewed fruits and toffee.
