This is the Dalmore 2005 Vintage, distilled in 2005 and bottled in 2023 after 17 years of maturation. It is bottled at 49.3% in a 70cl bottle. The whisky matured in American white oak ex-bourbon casks and was enhanced with hand-selected Matusalem sherry and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks.
The nose is described as salted caramel, dark chocolate, old leather and orange. The palate is rich, with cocoa, dark fruit, blood orange, marzipan, ginger and cake. The finish is long, with vanilla, bitter orange, nuts and chocolate.
