The Dalmore 2006 Vintage is a Highland single malt distilled in 2006 and bottled in 2024 at 47.2%, in a 70cl bottle. It is made each year from a small number of casks chosen by Dalmore's whisky makers and married together. It was matured in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels, then finished in aged Matusalem Oloroso and Amoroso sherry casks. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The nose has sherry-soaked raisins, roasted figs, honey, cedar and blood orange. The palate is silky, with dark berries, liquorice, cacao, spice, roasted coffee and citrus. The finish is long, with antique sherry richness, dark chocolate, berries and sweet spice.
