This is the 2022 edition of The Dalmore 30 Year Old, a Highland single malt bottled at 43.2% in a 70cl bottle.
It was matured in American oak ex-bourbon barrels, then finished in tawny port pipes that previously held Graham's 1982 Single Harvest Tawny Port.
The nose offers Victorian plums, sticky toffee apple, gingerbread, Morello cherries and warm brioche. On the palate come Black Forest gateau, Maraschino cherries, freshly brewed Colombian coffee, chewy liquorice, Sanguinello blood oranges and dark chocolate.
