The Dalmore Dominium is a Highland single malt finished in first fill Matusalem sherry casks. It is a travel exclusive release, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is clean and very aromatic, with mandarin, honey, lemon tart, sandalwood, coffee with caramel and a touch of spice. The palate is rich, dense and unctuous, with dark toffee, moist banana cake and sherry-soaked raisins, then a gentle warmth of sweet chilli, ginger and pineapple. The finish is velvety and medium to long, with treacle tart, Oxford marmalade, dates and black pepper over woody notes.
