The Dalmore King Alexander III is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 40% ABV. This limited edition was matured in six kinds of cask: wine, Madeira, Sherry, Marsala, Kentucky bourbon and Port.
The nose is malty, with Seville orange zest, barley, chocolate, vanilla fudge and tropical fruit. The palate is medium and rounded, with winter berries, spice and zesty orange, followed by liqueur notes of Grand Marnier, kirsch and Frangelico. The finish is peppery, with well-integrated oak and a late hint of claret.
