The Dalmore – King Alexander III Year of the Dragon Festive Limited Edition (70cl, 40%)

This is The Dalmore King Alexander III in its Year of the Dragon festive edition, a Highland single malt bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The whisky is described as the world's first single malt to bring together six cask finishes. It matures first in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, then is divided among small batch ex-bourbon casks, Matusalem oloroso sherry casks, Madeira barrels, Marsala casks, Port pipes and Cabernet Sauvignon wine barriques. The parts are then married together in a sherry butt.
