This is The Dalmore King Alexander III, a Highland single malt in a 70cl bottle at 40% ABV, presented in a Year of the Dragon festive pack.
It is described as the first single malt to bring together six cask finishes. The whisky is first matured in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, then divided between small batch ex-bourbon casks, Matusalem oloroso sherry casks, Madeira barrels, Marsala casks, Port pipes and Cabernet Sauvignon wine barriques. The parts are then combined in an in-situ sherry butt.
