This is a Highland single malt from The Dalmore, bottled at 46.5%. It matured first in American ex-bourbon casks and was then finished in port casks from W&J Graham's in the Douro Valley.
The nose shows red berries, citrus and dark chocolate. On the palate it is silky, with ripe plums, orange peel, cinnamon and toasted nuts.
The finish is long, warm and spicy, with a touch of sweetness from the port.
