This is a limited-edition Lowland blended malt from Douglas Laing's Regional Malts range, matured in three types of cask: virgin oak, bourbon and sherry. Each adds something different. Virgin oak gives bold spice, bourbon brings layers of vanilla and honey, and sherry adds a rich, fruity depth.
The Epicurean is described as the Master of Versatility in the range. This release was bottled at natural cask strength, 54.1%, and 1920 bottles were produced.
