The Epicurean is a blended malt from Douglas Laing's Remarkable Regional Malts range, made from Lowland malts drawn from the east and west of Scotland. It is a small batch bottling at 46% in a 70cl bottle, without colouring or chill-filtration.
The name belongs to a character imagined as a cheerful 1930s Glasgow man with a taste for fine food and drink. Douglas Laing suggests it for cocktails as well as for sipping.
It is described as zesty, fruity, fresh and vibrant.
