The Essence of Suntory Volume 4 - Rice Whisky is Suntory's first rice whisky, one of two bottles in the Volume 4 release alongside a Sakura expression.
It was produced at the Osumi Sake Brewery, a site normally used for sake and shochu. Rice is the main ingredient, saccharified with malt, fermented and then distilled.
The whisky is clean and slightly spicy, with light peach, fruity incense, hints of ginger and a juicy quality. It is soft and gentle in style.
