The Matsui Whisky Kurayoshi Distillery has been active since 1910. It stands in the city of Kurayoshi in Tottori Prefecture, on the Sea of Japan coast in the south of Honshu. The distillery puts particular weight on its water, which rises at the foot of nearby Mount Daisen.
