The Matsui The Peated is a Japanese single malt from the Kurayoshi distillery in Tottori prefecture. The master distiller selected the malted barley and peated it, and the whisky is double distilled and matured in American oak. Water from Mount Daisen is part of its make. The bottle carries Hokusai's Great Wave off Kanagawa. It is described as soft and harmoniously fruity, with a well-balanced peaty finish.
