This is a Japanese single malt from Mars Komagatake Shinshu, a 2018 edition made for Germany. It is an original distillery bottling, matured in virgin American oak and bottled at 59% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
Mars whisky was made by Hombo Shuzo between 1985 and 1992, and production started again in 2011. The distillery stands in the village of Miyata, at around 800 metres. The low temperatures there slow the maturation of the whisky.
