Mars Maltage Cosmo is a Japanese blended malt from the Mars Shinshu distillery, in a 70cl bottle. It is named after a prominent mountain near the distillery.
The whisky combines Scottish single malts with malts from Shinshu itself, and contains no grain whisky. It comes from the Hombo family, who have specialised in whisky since 1949. Production at the distillery stopped in 1992 and began again in 2011, and stills were added in 2014.
