Mars Komagatake 2019 Limited Edition is a Japanese single malt from Mars Shinshu distillery in Nagano, in the Japanese Alps. Bottled at 48% ABV, it combines whisky matured in ex-bourbon casks in the distillery's warehouse, 800 metres above sea level.
Rich aromas of apricot and sweet orange marmalade lead into a delicate, fruity palate with gentle oak. The finish is dry and rich, bringing fresh plums and white grapes, followed by cereal and chocolate biscuits.
