The Famous Grouse 1 Litre (1L, 40%)

A blended Scotch that combines malt and grain whiskies into a lightly smoky whisky, in a 1 litre bottle at 40%. European oak sherry casks add spiced dried fruit, ex-bourbon casks bring toffee and citrus, and grain whisky matured in bourbon casks gives a creamy character. The blend was named Grouse Brand in 1896 and has been called The Famous Grouse since 1905. It can be enjoyed neat, over ice or in whisky cocktails. The nose is light and fresh, with delicate floral notes, barley and gentle toffee sweetness. On the palate, pronounced barley meets velvety caramel and mild spice, with a touch of soft smoke. The finish is soft, with lingering caramel sweetness and a warming feel.
