The Famous Grouse is a blended Scotch whisky in a 1 litre bottle, bottled at 40%. It combines grain whiskies with single malts from several Scottish distilleries and is matured in oak casks.
It is described as smooth and well rounded, with honey, ripe orchard fruit and creamy vanilla, followed by toffee, soft malt and toasted oak. Dried fruit, citrus peel and gentle spice sit underneath.
The finish is long and warming, with lingering sweetness and subtle oak.
