The GlenDronach 14 Year Old Boynsmill House Edition is a Highland single malt released for the distillery's 200th anniversary (1826 to 2026). It is named after Boynsmill House, built in 1771 by the distillery's founder, James Allardice.
The whisky spent 14 years in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks from Andalucía, with a portion matured in Port casks. It is bottled at 46% ABV without chill filtration, in a 70cl bottle.
The nose offers dark fruit compote, caramelised figs, chocolate and plum preserves. The palate has dark cherry, orange marmalade, cocoa nibs and walnut, and the finish brings dark chocolate, dried fruit and clove.
