The GlenDronach – 15 Year Old (70cl, 46%)

The GlenDronach 15 Year Old is a single malt Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 46%. It returns to the distillery's core range and revives the Revival expression, which was discontinued in 2015. The whisky spent 15 years maturing in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks from Andalucía, in the distillery's dunnage warehouses. It is non-chill filtered and of natural colour. The nose brings maraschino cherry, ripe bramble and dark chocolate mint, with hints of orange bitters and walnut liqueur. On the palate come honey-glazed apricot, ripe fig, black cherry and muscovado sugar.
