A 25 year old Highland single malt from The GlenDronach, distilled in 1993 and bottled in 2018 at 48.2% in a 70cl bottle. Master Blender Dr Rachel Barrie hand-selected Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks laid down in 1993 to make it. It is non-chill filtered and of natural colour.
Mahogany in colour with a golden walnut hue, it has a nose of brandy-laced fruitcake, marzipan, smoked walnut and toasted sultana bread. The palate brings cocoa-dusted coffee, sultana brioche, baked orange rind and prune. The long finish has cocoa, dates and pecan toffee.
