This is a peated single malt from The GlenDronach, a distillery founded in 1826 by James Allardice and among the first licensed in Scotland. It is bottled at 48% in a 700ml bottle and is a harvest gold colour. The distillery takes its name from the Scots Gaelic for 'valley of the brambles'. The nose combines Highland toffee and treacle with dark honey and coal-smoked barley. On the palate come burnt orange and treacle, with cloves and smoked bramble.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
