The Glenlee is a blended Scotch whisky that combines malt and grain whiskies matured in oak casks. Batch 2 is a limited release, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle with no added colour.
The blend is named after the museum ship The Glenlee, built in 1896, and supports the ship's preservation. The label shows a ship in a parchment-style design.
The nose offers light honey and toffee with spiced malt and subtle wood. The palate is mild, soft and creamy, with fresh orange zest, vanilla, dark caramel, wholegrain toast and a touch of spice. The finish is short to medium and fades gently, leaving a soft, rounded texture.
