The Glenlivet 12 Years Old Double Oak is a single malt Scotch whisky matured in European and American oak casks. The American oak adds notes of vanilla and a smooth character, and the water used for mashing and fermentation comes from Josie's Well. It is bottled at 40% in a 750ml bottle.
It is described as balanced, with sweet summer fruits, floral notes of spring flowers, pineapple and vanilla. The finish is long, creamy and smooth.
