The Glenlivet Cognac Cask Selection is a 14 year old single malt Scotch whisky, released for the US market.
It was first aged in first-fill American oak sherry casks, then finished for a period in cognac casks.
The nose is notably aromatic, with spicy red wine notes, vanilla and light cinnamon. The palate has good texture and is sweet, with tangerines, toffee, dates, sultanas and milk chocolate. The finish is smooth and long, with liqueur chocolates.
