The Glenlivet The Sample Room Collection 25 Year Old is a single malt finished across two kinds of cask: first-fill Pedro Ximénez sherry and Tronçais oak Cognac casks. Together they add richness to the smooth, fruity house style of The Glenlivet.
The sherry casks bring sweet fig and blood orange to the nose, while the Cognac casks add warming ginger, toasted oak and a hint of charred pineapple. The colour is rich amber and gold, and the finish is very long and sweet, with gentle spice.
