This is a 25 year old single malt from The Glenlivet, produced in batches from whiskies that have each been aged for at least 25 years. It is finished in ex-sherry butts, with the Oloroso-soaked wood adding subtle sherry tones. The casks are selected individually, and the team monitors the whisky through the finishing.
It is the oldest expression in The Glenlivet's core range. The nose offers bittersweet dark chocolate and plump, sweet sultana, and the finish is very long, rich and balanced.
