The Glenrothes 15 Year Old is a Speyside single malt, bottled by the distillery at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It is matured in sherry-seasoned European oak casks.
Its character runs to baked pear, dark chocolate, candied orange, hazelnut, ginger and sweet spice.
The nose is sweet orchard fruit with soft spice and a light nuttiness. The palate opens with fruity sweetness, developing into warming spice and toasted nut. The finish is mellow, warming and gently lingering.
