The Glenrothes 15 Years Old is a Speyside single malt, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose brings brown sugar, baked orchard fruit and bright spices, with hazelnut praline, candied orange peel and maple syrup, along with toasted oak and soft, worn leather. On the palate there are caramelised pears, dark chocolate and sweet baking spices of cinnamon, clove and cardamom, then pecan pie, crystallised ginger and orange marmalade. It feels smooth and rich. The finish is sweet and silky, with lasting bright spice.
