The Glenrothes – Maker's Cut (70cl, 48.8%)

A single malt from The Glenrothes, bottled at 48.8% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The Master Blender chose that strength to bring out the character of the whisky, and the colour is natural. Maker's Cut was shaped by the craft of the distillery's Whisky Maker, and reflects that experience in the selection of casks. The nose is candied citrus peel with fresh oak. The palate is rich, spicy and creamy, with vanilla and orange peel. The finish is long and fruity, with orange peel lingering and flashes of walnut.
