A 15 year old Highland single malt Scotch whisky from The Glenturret, bottled at 40% in a 75cl bottle. The distillery's name is printed with the date 1775.
The nose is floral, with heather honey, green apple, pear and candied orange peel over clean cereal and barley, plus a trace of old wood. The palate is medium-bodied, silky and slightly oily, opening with toffee, soft vanilla and ginger before sultanas, dates and a gentle oak spice. The finish is of medium length, lightly dry and spiced, with dried fruit, soft oak and a fresh herbal note.
