The Glenturret 7 Year Old Peat Smoked is the distillery's first peated single malt and a new addition to its core range. It pairs youthful smoke with the fresh fruit and oak character Glenturret is known for. European and refill woods keep the oak balanced and soften the smoke.
On the nose there is sweet vanilla, citrus fruits and a clean wave of peat smoke, followed by ginger, nutmeg and hints of sea salt. The finish is softly peated and slightly fruity, with lingering oak and a gentle salty edge.
