The Glenturret Aged 12 Years 2023 Release (70cl, 46.4%)

The Glenturret 12 Years Old is a single malt bottled at 46.4% in a 70cl bottle, in its 2023 release. Fewer than sixty selected casks are brought together for it, and it forms the heart of the Glenturret range. American oak casks drive the salted caramel sweetness, while European oak layers in dried fruits and spices. Raisins and sultanas open the nose, with vanilla and cinnamon following. Ginger and hints of nutmeg bring warmth on the palate, and the finish closes with hedgerow fruits and maturing oak.
