A 25 year old Highland single malt Scotch whisky from The Glenturret, bottled at 43% in a 70cl globe decanter. The distillery stands at Crieff in Perthshire and gives 1775 as its year of establishment.
The nose combines ripe dried fruit and raisins with delicate floral notes, classic sherry, old leather and soft lemon peel. The palate is rich and oily, led by aged oak, malty sweetness, honey and vanilla, with toasted nuts and light nutmeg and ginger.
The finish is very long, warm and velvety, with woody spice, toffee pudding and dark fruit.
