The Glenturret Triple Wood is a Highland single malt matured in a mix of American oak, European oak sherry-seasoned casks and Bourbon casks. It is made from the distillery's own new make spirit.
The nose opens with vanilla toffee and soft maltiness, with citrus and pear drops following slowly. On the palate, sweet woody spices of ginger and cinnamon sit in balance. Honeyed fruit and lighter oak arrive towards the finish.
