The Hearach is a single malt from the Isle of Harris, described as the first historic single malt from the island. It is matured in ex-bourbon casks from Heaven Hill and Buffalo Trace, together with oloroso and fino sherry butts, and the different casks are then married together before bottling.
It is bottled at 46% ABV, non-chill filtered and free from artificial colouring.
The palate is smoky and sweet, with crisp apples and the flavour of Scottish tablet.
