This is an Irish whiskey from The Irishman range, bottled at 49.8% in a 70cl bottle. It combines malted and unmalted barley.
The whiskey matured in American oak and then spent 6 months in a St Lucia rum barrel for its finish.
The nose shows malt, apricot, rum and raspberries. The palate is soft and elegant, with enough depth, and notes of malt, pineapple, vanilla and light spice. The finish is fairly long, with banana and gentle oak.
