The Irishman Cask Strength is an Irish single malt, triple distilled and bottled at 54%. Bernard Walsh chose American oak casks to mature this edition. Tasting notes point to cereal and fresh grass, with a nose of sweet spice and pastry reminiscent of Irish cake, alongside some wood. The palate is malted and bittersweet, with dry oak, and the long finish is spicy with chocolate notes.
