The Irishman Single Malt is an Irish single malt, triple distilled and bottled at 40%. It is a blend of whiskeys matured in two kinds of cask, ex-bourbon and ex-Oloroso sherry, chosen by Bernard Walsh. It now comes in a redesigned bottle. The nose opens on fresh fruit. The palate is smooth, with milk-chocolate-covered biscuits, then toasted almond and a touch of coconut. The finish is pleasantly malty.
