The Irishman Single Malt (70cl, 40%)

The Irishman Single Malt is an Irish single malt from Walsh Whiskey, made only from Irish barley and triple distilled. It is bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle, chill-filtered and with added colouring. It matures in a combination of American oak bourbon casks and European oak Oloroso sherry casks, which shapes its honeyed maltiness and soft notes of candied fruit. Walsh Whiskey was founded in 1999 by Bernard and Rosemary Walsh. Honey and malt mark the nose. The palate has candied fruit, pronounced sweetness and figs, and the finish brings sun-dried raisins and spice from aged oak.
