The London Distillery Co. Rye LV-1767 Edition (70cl, 54.3%)

A four year old English rye whiskey from The London Distillery Company, in a 70cl bottle at 54.3% ABV. It was made with organic malted British rye from Warminster Maltings and a brewer's yeast from the early 1900s. The wash was twice distilled in Matilda, a 650-litre copper pot still with a four plate column. The new make was distilled on 31st October 2014 and aged in new English oak barrels made by the last English master cooper, Alastair Simms, to echo the oak used for London whiskeys in the 19th century.
