A Japanese blended whisky from Nikka, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It is a deep gold in colour.
The nose is soft and round, with apple, apricot and white-fleshed fruit, a strong presence of honey, and notes of chocolate and candied orange peel. The palate pairs a pastry-like side of vanilla and kouglof with bitterness from dark chocolate and grated citrus zest, including mandarin and orange.
The finish carries lightly toasted notes that set the vanilla sweetness against the fruity bitterness.
