This is a Springbank aged 25 years, bottled by The Single Malts of Scotland as its Director's Special. It is a Campbeltown single malt from a single cask, bottled at a cask strength of 55.5%, with 142 bottles in the release.
The nose is full of plenty of exotic fruit, and the whisky is thick and syrupy on the tongue. Marmalade on toast, buttery popcorn and light wood smoke come through on the palate. The finish is very long, with orange oil, honeycomb and a hint of chilli.
