This is a 12-year-old single malt Scotch from The Singleton of Dufftown, a Speyside whisky bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It is matured in sherry casks and Bourbon oak, and has a deep golden, honey colour.
The brand takes the names of its whiskies from fly fishing, a tradition of the River Spey.
On the palate it is sweet and honeyed, with fruit, vanilla and caramel alongside a festive spice. It is also described as smooth, fresh and fruity, with notes of liquorice and spice. The finish is long and sweet.
