This is the 2020 special release of The Singleton of Dufftown, aged 17 years and bottled at a natural cask strength of 55.1% in a 70cl bottle.
It is the first refill cask release from the Singleton of Dufftown, matured in refill American oak hogsheads.
The nose is mellow, with honeycomb sweetness, a floral note of dry grasses and hints of fruit over an earthy base. The texture is creamy and coating, and the taste is sweet, rich and balanced. The finish is warming and drying, with a peppery spiciness.
