The Singleton 25 Year Old is a Speyside single malt from Dufftown distillery, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle as the Trinity Cask Harmony edition.
It matured for 25 years in a combination of refill bourbon, Pedro Ximénez sherry and Oloroso sherry casks.
The nose has ripe tropical fruit, dried figs, orange zest, soft vanilla and subtle oak. The palate is silky, with juicy peaches, caramel, honey, stewed fruit and a hint of nutmeg, and the sherry casks add sweetness. The finish is long and warm, balancing sweet fruit, spice and oak.
