A 31 year old single cask Singleton of Dufftown, filled into American oak on 15 December 1988 and bottled in 2020 at a natural cask strength of 46.9%. Just 219 bottles were released.
It is the fifth and final release in the Artist Series made for Spirits & Wisdom (S&W) Gallery in Taiwan, which pairs single casks with the work of five Taiwanese artists. This cask was chosen from Diageo's Cask of Distinction programme and is matched with original work by the calligrapher Wu Jiru.
The bottler's notes describe a nose of ripe fruit, vanilla, lime, honey and fruit jelly, and a palate of rose dew, light sweetness, liquorice, guava and southern almonds.
