The Singleton of Dufftown Andalucia Reserva Moscatel Wine Cask Finish (70cl, 40%)

Andalucia Reserva is a Speyside single malt made at Dufftown Distillery for The Singleton and bottled at 40%. After its first maturation it is finished in casks that previously held Moscatel wine from Andalusia. The finish adds a winey note and a dessert-like sweetness to the soft, fruit-led malt. Grape, peach and apricot sit at the centre, with orange and blossom, honey, vanilla and caramel, then mild spice and light oak. The nose is apricot and peach with honey and mild vanilla. The palate is soft, with orange zest and floral notes, and the finish is gentle, with balanced sweetness, citrus and a touch of caramel.
